چکیده

We review the spectral and the scattering theory for the Aharonov-Bohm model on R. New formulae for the wave operators and for the scattering operator are presented. The asymptotics at high and at low energy of the scattering operator are computed.

In this paper we study the Aharonov-Bohm oscillations of transmission coefficient for an electron passing through a quantum nanoring with two identical magnetic impurities using quantum waveguide theory. It is shown that the Aharonov-Bohm oscillations are independent of the coupling constant between the electron and magnetic impurities for the singlet spin state of impurities, while for the o...

New formulae for the Aharonov-Bohm wave operators

In some recent works on scattering theory [KR1, KR2, KR3, KR5], it was conjectured and then proved that, modulo a compact term, the wave operators for Schrödinger systems can be rewritten as a product of a function of the dilation operator A and a function of the Laplacian −∆. Furthermore, the functions of the dilation operator are rather insensitive to a particular choice of the perturbed oper...

Gravitational Dressing of Aharonov-bohm Amplitudes *

We investigate Aharonov-Bohm scattering in a theory in which charged bosonic matter fields are coupled to topologically massive electrodynamics and topologically massive gravity. We demonstrate that, at one-loop order, the transmuted spins in this theory are related to the ones of ordinary Chern-Simons gauge theory in the same way that the Knizhnik-Polyakov-Zamolodchikov formula relates the Lio...

Selfadjoint time operators and invariant subspaces

For classical dynamical systems time operators are introduced as selfadjoint operators satisfying the so called weak Weyl relation (WWR) with the unitary groups of time evolution. Dynamical systems with time operators are intrinsically irreversible because they admit Lyapounov operators as functions of the time operator. For quantum systems selfadjoint time operators are defined in the same way...

Unitarity of the Aharonov-Bohm Scattering Amplitudes

We discuss the unitarity relation of the Aharonov-Bohm scattering amplitude with the hope that it distinguishes between the differing treatments which employ different incident waves. We find that the original Aharonov-Bohm scattering amplitude satisfies the unitarity relation under the regularization prescription whose theoretical foundation does not appear to be understood. On the other hand,...
